Every married person knows that marriage takes work. It takes commitment. And it takes endurance. But how do we work, commit, and endure in ways that build up and are joyfully hope-filled? How do we walk out our faith in Christ, as husbands or wives, so that our marriages are strong, our homes stable, and God is glorified?
This seminar is designed to do more than answer these questions. It is designed to strengthen and equip you with practical tools for the day to day and with deep theological roots for stability and growth. Joy in marriage is not just possible; it is God’s design. Join us as we learn the power, the purpose, and the ‘how-to’ of being married - together in Christ.
Rob Flood serves at Covenant Fellowship Church in Pennsylvania as the pastor responsible for small groups and the marriage ministry of the church. Additionally, Rob carries responsibility for Leadership Training, Women’s Ministry, and shares in the counseling and administration of the church. Rob is the author of With These Words: Five Communication Tools for Marriage and Life. He has an interest in a wide array of music and film. He and his wife, Gina, have six children ranging from adult to elementary school.
Gina primarily serves as a mom and wife, managing the very many activities of the home and family. Additionally, she is a speaker and small group leader in the women’s ministry of her church and visiting speaker in surrounding churches. She has an interest in reading, hiking, nutrition, creativity, and natural products.
Together, prior to pastoral ministry, Rob and Gina served with FamilyLife, a marriage ministry known for their conferences (Weekend to Remember) and radio program (FamilyLife Today). Investing their gifts and their time in strengthening struggling marriages, Rob and Gina both have a passion to help couples thrive in gospel power toward gospel hope.
